Job Brief: We are looking for waiter / waitress from hospitality industry who can handle the given responsibilities in hotels, resorts, restaurant, bar, etc..

Job Type: Full time, On Contract

Interview Location : Vikhroli, Mumbai

Work Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra / Gujarat / Rajasthan / Goa / Pan India / Abroad


Candidates applying for the above post should be willing to relocate at the required destination. Candidates can be relocated to other cities, states, countries, etc.

Food and accommodation will be provided.

Working cycle:

  • First option: One shift / working cycle of one candidate will be for 8+1 hours work cycle for 6 days in a week (8 hours work + 1 hour break + 1 weekly holiday = 1 working cycle)
  • Second option: One shift / working cycle of one candidate will be for 10+1 hours work cycle for 5 days in a week (10 hours work + 1 hour break + 2 weekly holiday = 1 working cycle)

Shift : Rotating shifts

Experience: Fresher or experience as waiter / waitress from hospitality industry can apply.

*Note: Candidate having relevant experience from hospitality industry would be considered as experienced or will be considered as fresher.

Salary slab: (Min) Rs.5,000/- Per month (Fixed + Variables) – (Max) As per last drawn (Fixed + Variables)

Education qualification: BHM – Bachelor of Hotel Management

Job Description:

Waiters or Waitresses are responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests. They play an important role in guest satisfaction as they are also responsible for checking on customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Wait on tables and provide quality service to the customers who arrive at the restaurant. Be fully aware of the menu and the specials to inform the customers. Suggest specials and appropriate dishes to customers when required. To take down orders, deliver it to the kitchen and serve the prepared dishes on the table.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort customers to their tables.
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
  • Inform customers about the day’s specials.
  • Serve food and drink orders.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
  • Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials.
  • Changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests.
  • Looking for hard working, good attitude, and open to learn attitude staff.
