  • We are looking for junior / senior sales executive, client relationship executive from hospitality industry or travel & tourism, who can handle sales & clients responsibilities.
  • A Sales Support Specialist in the hospitality industry supports the sales team by handling administrative tasks, assisting with client communications, coordinating events, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales activities. This role is vital in helping the organisation increase its revenue through effective coordination, customer service, and sales support.
  • This role is essential in helping the sales team meet its goals, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the smooth operation of sales and event logistics within the outlets.

Experience:

  • Minimum – Minimum 01 year experience in sales support, customer service, administrative role, preferably within travel and tourism, events or hospitality industry can apply.
  • Maximum – Experience up to 04 years in sales support, customer service, administrative role, preferably within travel and tourism, events or hospitality industry can apply.

*Note:

  • Candidate having relevant experience from travel and tourism or hospitality industry would be considered as experienced or will be considered as fresher.

Salary slab:

  • Minimum – Up to Rs.180,000/- Per annum (CTC = Fix + Variable = 50:50 ration)
  • Maximum – Up to Rs.450,000/- Per annum (CTC = Fix + Variable = 50:50 ration)

*Note:

  • Salary structure: Fix + Variable (50:50 ratio).
  • Candidates applying for the above post should be compulsory target oriented, as offered salary will be target oriented.
  • Candidates applying for the above post should have their own laptop, good internet connection.
  • Office-based with occasional on-site work during events or peak sales periods.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends as required by client events or sales demands.

Education qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Diploma / Graduate in Travel and tourism (any related certification)
  • BHM – Bachelor of Hotel Management (not compulsory, but will be an added advantage)
  • Master of Business Administration – Sales (would be added benefit)
  • Degree / Diploma, computers, word processing and spreadsheet certification (would be added benefit)

Job Description

The Sales Support Specialist will assist the sales team with administrative, coordination, and communication tasks to help drive revenue. They work closely with sales and event teams to support client needs, coordinate logistics, and maintain accurate records. This role requires excellent organisational skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The role of the sales support specialist is to generate leads, schedule meetings, develop new business opportunities, increase sales revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Your work can involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead generation:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, new markets, growth, areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, services, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Perform regular market search for new clients (B2B, Corporates, hotels & Resorts, Restaurants & Bar, Café, Gymkhana Club, Villas, etc.)
  • Cold call to prospective customers, schedule meetings, generate leads
  • Communicate, follow up, tie up with new clients

Sales Administration:

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating client communications, and preparing sales materials.
  • Process and track sales orders, contracts, and reservations accurately.
  • Maintain sales databases and CRM systems with up-to-date client information and sales activities.
  • Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors and other personnel

Client Communication and Support:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries, providing prompt and courteous responses to clients and prospective customers.
  • Handle client requests related to bookings, reservations, menu selections, and other special requests.
  • Coordinate follow-ups on sales leads and assist in nurturing client relationships.
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with event teams to ensure seamless execution of private dining events, banquets, and catering services.
  • Assist in organising event logistics, including seating arrangements, menu planning, and AV requirements.
  • Serve as the liaison between the client and the restaurant team to ensure all details are aligned with the client’s expectations.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular sales and performance reports, such as weekly sales summaries, revenue forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the sales team with insights on customer feedback and market trends.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Update and maintain CRM systems to ensure accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Assist in managing client databases, segmenting contacts for marketing campaigns, and tracking customer engagement.
  • Support the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns to promote special events and seasonal offers.

Promotions and Marketing Support:

  • Assist in developing promotional materials for restaurant offerings, events, and specials in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, printers, and vendors to ensure promotional materials are ready and distributed on time.
  • Help with social media promotions, online advertising, and website updates related to sales events and offerings.

Inventory and Supplies Coordination:

  • Monitor and order sales-related supplies, including promotional items, menus, and event materials.
  • Ensure that sales and marketing materials are available and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials and supplies.

Customer Feedback Collection:

  • Gather feedback from clients post-events or after major bookings to gauge satisfaction and identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to implement feedback-driven changes.
